Winchester Chamber Orchestra - Vacancies
Membership and Vacancies
We`are very much a "learning and training" orchestra. As such, we purposely do not have a formal audition for aspiring new members. We encourage musicians who may not have enjoyed the experience of playing in an orchestra before, and who feel they have reached the stage, (a rough guide is around Associated Board Grade VI and above,) that they would like to would to try, to apply.
Membership subscription: £40/term (no joining fee); 3 weeks trial free.
We run a coffee/tea and biscuit bar at half time on normal practice evenings, manned by pairs on a roster basis. Contributions 20p to 40p, depending on biscuit consumption.
We would love to hear from you, especially if you haven't played in an orchestra before.
