Born in Singapore, Xiaoyun Lim started to learn the piano at the age of 5 and violin at age 10.
She completed her studies with Boris Kraljevic at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (Singapore) in 2010 before heading to Melbourne Conservatorium of music for her undergraduate studies with Russian pianist, Igor Machlak.
She travels abroad frequently for masterclasses with the most recent in USA with John O’Conor.
She currently holds a Bachelor in Music Performance and a Distinction in Associate diploma from The London College of Music.
In 2013, she left Melbourne to pursue her Masters of Music in Performance at the Royal College of Music under Andrew Ball.
She is currently a student of Chinese-born pianist, Patsy Toh.
