New Year Concert - Saturday 11th January 7:30pm
What an amazing concert this was!! Jinah enthralled us all with her interpretation of Schumann's Piano Concerto. Following enduring applause she played an encore that was so fast and furious it was impossible to see her fingers moving, and jaws were visibly dropping on members of the audience! She played Lucifer's Dance by Butler. Still in her early 20s Jinah has won many awards for her performances, so it was a real honour to have her with us in January. And if that was not enough, we have had our first piece composed for us! Local composer, Keith Pickering, composed the opening overture for us. A recording of this overture will shortly be available on the website. (Watch this space!)
